Characteristics

Leaves 2 or 3 , 100–300 × 4–12 mm, folded. Flower stem 200–600 mm, 1–5-flowered. Flowers 25–40 mm across, pale yellow heavily suffused with light-brown, occasionally with mauve-purple in labellum; petals yellow suffused with light brown, dorsal sepal and labellum red-brown. Dorsal sepal erect, 10–12 × 10–14 mm. Lateral sepals deflexed, parallel or crossed, not recurved, 15–24 × 2–3 mm. Petals obliquely erect; stalk 4.5–6 mm long, curved, blackish; blade oblong elliptic, 12–20 × 8–12 mm. Labellum 8–10 mm long; lateral lobes 7–10 × 4–6 mm; midlobe flat to convex, margins shallowly downcurved, wedge-shaped when flattened, 7–9 × 6–9 mm. Callus ridge 1, 5–7 mm long, yellow surrounded by red-brown.
