Characteristics

Leaves 1-foliolate; leaflet 3.5–6.8 × 1.1–4 cm, elliptic, ovate or broadly ovate, acute at the apex, cordate or rounded at the base; glabrous, 3-veined at the base; petiole 2–6 mm long; stipules 7–12 × 3–5 mm, ovate-lanceolate, leafy, striate, erect (may appear reflexed on herbarium sheets); stipels minute.
