Flowers axillary, in 3–9-flowered fascicles; pedicels (1.8)3–4.5 cm long, hirsute; bracts 1–22 × 3–7 mm, broadly ovate, striate; bracteoles 1–3 mm long, filiform.
Calyx glabrous or sparsely puberulent; tube 3–4 mm long; lower lobes short, 1 mm long, upper pair 2–3 mm long, fused along half their length forming a bifid tip.
Pods (somewhat immature) stipitate, 45 × 7 mm, oblong, compressed, glabrous except along the thickened margins,2–3-seeded.
Ovary 4–5 mm long, linear-oblong, compressed, puberulent; style 6–7 mm long; stigma minute, terminal, penicillate.
Prostrate creeping herb to 1.3 m long, arising from a perennial woody rootstock, flowering with the leaves.
Standard yellow, 10–15 × 9–14 mm, almost round; wings and keel yellow.
Stems annual, slender, sparsely pubescent or glabrous.
Mature seeds unknown.
