Characteristics

Leaf 20–30 mm across, heart-shaped, dark green, smooth, veins inconspicuous. Flower stem 250–300 mm tall. Pedicel 10–15 mm long. Tepals 10–15 × 1.5–2 mm, greyish green or pale greenish yellow and red. Labellum basal stalk 7–8 mm long, pale green, unspotted. Labellum lamina 9–10 × 3.5–4 mm, uniformly dark purple; head structure densely covered with shiny black calli and dense short thick purple hairs; middle section thickened, bulging below rest of lamina; tail shallowly upcurved, glabrous. Column 8–10 mm long; foot 12–15 mm long. Anther cap blunt, no apical point.
