Characteristics

Dense shrub to 0.5 m high, glabrous except flowers. Branchlets smooth, cream-coloured. Leaves crowded, slender, trigonous or semiterete, c. 16 mm long, acuminate, glossy, sulcate adaxially. Flowers solitary; pedicel c. 1.5 mm long, fleshy; bracteoles absent. Sepals ±equal, orbicular, c. 4 mm long, leathery, ciliate but otherwise glabrous, green. Petals narrowly oblong, c. 14 mm long, white to pink with orange tips, glabrous. Stamens: filaments exceeding petals, white-sericeous; anthers c. 2.5 mm long.
