Characteristics

Similar to D. natalensis (q.v.) but differing in having the leaf-blades smaller (not more than 15 cm. long and 5 cm. wide), more gradually acuminate and only very shallowly serrate, and in having the pedicels of the male flowers 1–1.3 cm. long.
