Characteristics

Suffrutex multiramosus ca. 20 cm altus caudice crasso. Ramuli juniores pilis recurvis brevibus sat dense albido-puberuli. Folia oblongo-lanceolata vel-oblanceolata, basi in petiolum brevem angustata, subacuta vel obtusiuscula, 8-15 mm longa, medio vel tertio superiore 4-5 mm lata, in utraque facie brevissime puberula. Flores axillares solitarii. Calyx angustissi-mus paulo ultra 1 mm diam. ca. 12 mm longus, ca. 8 mm alte connatus, extus indumento ramulorum indutus, dentes liberi ad 5 mm longi subuliformes. Corollae extus puberulae tubus fere 1 cm longe anguste cylindricus, deinde 3-4 mm longe ampliatus, labium superum ca. 5 mm longum et subaequilatum, ad 2 mm ca. bilobum lobis rotundatis; labium inferum supero subaequilongum, trilobum, lobis lateralibus 2 mm latis, medio 2.5 mm. Stamina 4 paulo inaequilonga, tubo supra partem cylindricam affixa, filamenta 6 et 7 mm longa, antherae paulo ultra 1 mm longae. Ovarium glabrum subcylindricum in stilum sparse minutissimeque glanduloso-puberulum 12 mm longum attenuatum.
