Characteristics

Environment

Found most frequently in lowland rain forest, but also frequent in lower montane forest, at elevations from sea-level up to 1,500 metres. An upper canopy tree in mixed dipterocarp, sub-montane and keranga forests at elevations up to 900 metres.
