Leaves alternate; nanophylls absent; stipules narrowly lanceolate, 10-14 × 2-3 mm, glabrous, with cystoliths; petiole 1-3.5 mm; leaf blade obliquely obovate or elliptic, 6-14.5 × 2-5.5 cm, papery, major basal lateral veins asymmetric, 1 basal, the other arising above base, abaxial surface puberulent along nerves, adaxial surface sparsely strigillose, cystoliths conspicuous, dense; base obliquely cuneate, margin dentate, apex cuspidate.
