Leaves alternate; nanophylls absent; stipules subulate, ca. 0.6 × 0.1 mm, without cystoliths; petiole 0.5-1 mm; leaf blade obliquely ovate, narrowly rhombic, or broadly lanceolate, 4-8 × 1.5-2.5 cm, leathery, major basal lateral veins asymmetric, 1 basal, the other arising above base, cystoliths obscure, dense; base obliquely cuneate, margin crenate, apex acuminate.
