Lamina narrowly to broadly ovate (4.5–) 6.5–11.5 cm. long, (2–) 2.5–5.2 cm. wide, apex narrowly acuminate, base broadly cuneate to rounded, coriaceous, upper surface with scattered appressed hairs, becoming glabrous with age, lower surface hairy, especially on midrib and nerves; leaf margin thickened, lateral nerves 4–6 pairs, arcuate, ascending..
