Leaves sessile, light green or grey-green, slightly succulent, broadly obovate-spatulate or the median oblanceolate, 1–5.5 cm long, 0.3–2.8 cm wide, base cuneate into a narrow, exauriculate petioloid base, sinuate-dentate to slightly 3-lobed on distal margins, rounded to subtruncate, with scattered to dense pubescence.. Capitula solitary and terminal, discoid, on slender pubescent stalk 2.5–10 cm long; involucre cylindrical, 6.5–8.5 mm long, 2–3 mm in diameter; phyllaries 8–12, 5.5–8 mm long, shortly pubescent or hispid.. Ray florets absent; disc florets yellow, 5–6.4 mm long, tube glabrous, lobes 1–1.3 mm long.. Achenes 2.5 mm long, shortly hairy; pappus 4–6 mm long.
