Leaves sessile, pale green, elliptic, obovate or the lowermost sometimes spatulate, 2–6 cm long, 0.3–1.8 cm wide, upper smaller and narrower, base cuneate, obscurely to coarsely sinuate-dentate or serrate, apex rounded or obtuse, sparsely pubescent, glabrescent.. Capitula numerous in lax terminal corymbs, radiate; involucre cylindrical, 5–5.5 mm long, 1.5 mm across; phyllaries 8, pale glaucous green, 4.5–5 mm long, glabrous.. Ray florets 4–6, yellow, tube 3 mm long, glabrous except at apex, rays 3.5–6 mm long, 1.5–2.5 mm wide, 4-veined; disc florets few, yellow, corolla 4 mm long, tube glabrous, lobes 0.5–0.7 mm long.. Achenes 1.2–1.5 mm long, glabrous; pappus 3.5 mm long.
