Leaves slightly fleshy, grey-green above, sessile, narrowly obovate or elliptic, 1.1–5 cm long, 0.2–2.8 cm wide, base attenuate, margins entire, apex obtuse to rounded, scattered-pubescent or finely puberulous, glabrescent.. Scapes 1–4, glabrous, 1-headed; capitula terminal, solitary, discoid; involucre cylindrical, 11.5–13.5 mm long, ± 5.5 mm in diameter; phyllaries 10–13, glabrous, dark green, 10–13 mm long.. Ray florets absent; disc florets yellow or orange, 7–11 mm long, tube glabrous, lobes 0.5–0.7 mm long.. Achenes 4–5.5 mm long, hairy; pappus 7.5–9 mm long.
