Capitula 3–4, lax, discoid, on slender peduncles; involucre cylindrical, 4.5–5 mm long, ± 2.5 mm in diameter; phyllaries 10–14, very pale green, 3–4 mm long, glabrous.. Disc florets magenta, style arms white, anthers purple, corolla 4.6–5.5 mm long, lobes 1.2–1.5 mm long.. Achenes 1.4 mm long, sparsely hairy; pappus 2 mm long.
