Leaf variously developed at flowering; mature leaf ovate, 7–20 × 5–15 mm, ground-hugging, glabrous, mid green above with raised longitudinal veins and raised midrib, pale green beneath. Flower stem 80–200 mm long, glabrous, 1–2-flowered. Flowers 8–12 × 7–10 mm, dorsal sepal and petals reddish with white tips, lateral sepals white sometimes with pink tinges, labellum greenish yellow with red bristles. Dorsal sepal 7–9 × 2.5–3 mm. Lateral sepals 10–18 × 2.5–3 mm. Petals 5–8 × 1 mm. Labellum 5.5–7 × 2.5 mm when flattened; midlobe ovate to elliptic, 3 × 2.5 mm, fleshy, with separate tufts of red/purple and white bristles.
