Characteristics

Leaf well-developed at flowering, held obliquely erect on flower stem 10–60 mm above ground, ovate to oblong, 15–30 × 5–8 mm, light green, fleshy, glabrous, fleshy, sparsely hairy, 1–10-flowered. Flowers 10–15 × 7–10 mm, dorsal sepal and petals whitish to pale green with dark red margins and tips, lateral sepals white, labellum white (or red with a greenish to white central band) with prominent clusters of dark pink to magenta or red bristles. Dorsal sepal obovate, 7–10 × 3–4 mm. Lateral sepals 12–15 × 3–4 mm, basal stalk 3–4 mm long. Petals spreading away from column, linear, 7–9 × 1–1.5 mm. Labellum 8–10 × 2.5–3 mm when flattened; midlobe elliptic, 3–4 × 2.5–3 mm, ovate to nearly round, fleshy, with pale glabrous central band. Column 5–8 × 2.5–3.5 mm with a greenish anther.
