Characteristics

Leaf well-developed at flowering, held obliquely erect on flower stem 20–50 mm above ground, ovate to nearly round, 5–20 × 5–18 mm, light green, glabrous, sharply pointed. Flower stem wiry, 50–200 mm tall, sparsely hairy, 1–4-flowered. Flowers 9–12 × 9–12 mm, dorsal sepal white with brown margins, petals green with dark red margins and tips, lateral sepals white, labellum with green or whitish central band flanked with red or white bristles. Dorsal sepal obovate, 7–10 × 3–4 mm. Lateral sepals 11–14 × 3–4 mm, basal stalk c. 2.5 mm long. Petals narrowly spathulate, 6–9 × 1–1.5 mm, held close to dorsal sepal. Labellum 8–11 × 3–6 mm when flattened; midlobe broadly ovate, 4–6 × 3.5–6 mm, fleshy. Column 6–7 × 2.5–3 mm with dark red anther.
