Mallee to 3 m high or rarely a tree to 5 m. Bark rough, flaky, brown to 1 m, smooth white above. Juvenile leaves not seen. Adult leaves narrowly lanceolate, uncinate; lamina 6–8 cm long, 0.7–1.2 cm wide, green, slightly shining, glandular; lateral veins faint, at 35°–50°; intramaginal vein up to 1 mm from margin; petiole terete, 10–13 mm long. Umbels 11-flowered; peduncle terete or angular, 5–10 mm long; pedicels 2–3 mm long. Buds conical; operculum conical, 4–5 mm long, 3–4 mm wide; hypanthium hemispherical, 2–3 mm long, 3–4 mm wide.
