Leaves 7–8, erect, linear, acuminate, 5–20 cm. long, 1–1.5 mm. wide, basal 3 sheathing.. Inflorescence 3–10-flowered, produced before the leaves; peduncle with a short acute sheath in the middle; rhachis 6–15 cm. long; bracts lanceolate, acuminate, 4–7(–11) mm. long.. Flowers with brown or greenish sepals, pale pinkish white petals and a pinkish lip with red veins, white papillae and an olivaceous spur; pedicel and ovary 6–11 mm. long..
