Characteristics

Lip 10–13 × 7 mm, 3-lobed; side lobes erect; mid-lobe 6–9 × 4–4.7 mm, diamond-shaped, with long papillae on the basal two-thirds, bent down at right angles at the junction of the lobes.

Flowers spreading; sepals and petals golden-brown with maroon lines; lip green and gold with a bright mauve-pink margin to the mid-lobe.
Spur 4–5 mm long, continuing the line of the base of the lip, then geniculate and globose at the apex.
Leaves 2–3, to 5–6 cm × 1.5 mm, linear, green, poorly developed at flowering time.
Sepals erect, 16–20 × 1.3–1.5 mm, narrowly oblanceolate, acute or acuminate.
