Subshrubby herb ± 30 cm. tall; stems slender but distinctly woody, with spreading rather bristly hairs on younger parts.. Leaves in whorls of 3; blades narrowly to broadly elliptic, 1–3.8 cm. long, 0.8–2 cm. wide, rounded, subacute or very shortly acuminate at the apex, cuneate at the base, densely pubescent in very young state but soon only sparsely so, ciliate; petiole up to 2.5 mm. long; stipules with broad base 1.5 mm. long and linear apex 2 mm. long.. Inflorescence densely spreading hairy, 1–several-flowered; peduncles up to 6 mm. long; pedicels up to 3.5 mm. long.. Calyx spreading hairy; tube ± 1 mm. long; limb-tube very short, 0.2 mm. long, pale, truncate or with small widely separated denticles up to 0.2 mm. long.. Buds densely spreading hairy, ± acute.. Corolla yellowish green; tube 1.5–2 mm. long, ± 2.5 mm. wide at the throat; lobes ± 3 mm. long, 1 mm. wide.. Style exserted ± 1.5 mm., the stigmatic club cylindrical, 0.8 mm. long.. Fruit unknown.
