Dwarf shrub or perennial herb, procumbent to erect, up to 250 mm tall, stems terete, woody, with a silvery sheen. Leaves alternate, acuminate, pungent-mucronate, linear-oblanceolate, entire or with some teeth towards apex. Flowerheads solitary, sessile, in widely-spaced leaf axils, radiate or discoid; involucral bracts erect; ray (if present) and disc florets yellow; pappus of scales, inner aristate.
