Characteristics

Leaves: petiole broadly canaliculate, 0.15–0.7 cm long; lamina linear or sublinear, in larger leaves 5–18 cm long, 0.3–1.4 cm wide, 10–50 times longer than wide, narrowly obtuse to acute or attenuate. Inflorescences 3–6 cm long. Flowers glabrous throughout or sepals ciliolate. Hilum extending for full length of seed.
