Characteristics

Spike (1)2-4(7)-flowered; bracts grey-green, outer 35-40 mm long, inner shorter. Flowers cream-coloured to yellow and variously speckled or mottled with brown; perianth tube usually erect below, curving outward above, 45-65 mm long, sometimes only shortly exserted from bracts; tepals lanceolate, attenuate, subequal, 30-35 x 8-12 mm. Filaments 10-12 mm long, reaching to mouth of tube; anthers ± 9 mm long, exserted or sometimes bases included in tube. Style dividing opposite anther apices, branches ± 3 mm long.
