Characteristics

Stem slender, angular-sulcate, glabrous or pubescent at nodes. Leaves pedately 5-foliolate; petiole ca. 2 cm, glabrous; leaflets elliptic, median leaflets 3-4 × 1.5-2 cm, lateral leaflets smaller, thinly papery, adaxially pubescent, base obtuse, margin irregularly crenate, apex obtuse, cuspidate. Tendrils filiform, 2-fid, glabrous. Flowers unknown. Infructescence racemose, dense. Capsule yellow-green, dark punctate, globose, ca. 3 mm in diam., glabrous, apex truncate, dehiscent, 1-or 2-seeded. Seeds brown, broadly cordate, compressed, ca. 2.5 × 2 mm, less than 1 mm thick, papillose. Fr. Dec.
