Characteristics

Plants robust, to 400 mm; leaves cauline, numerous, suberect, narrowly ovate to oblong-lanceolate, acuminate, to 45 x 12 mm. Inflorescences dense, many-flowered; bracts ovate, acuminate, 9-25 mm long; ovary strongly curved, subsessile, c. 11 mm long. Flowers green with yellowish-green petals. Median sepal suberect, cucullate, broadly ovate, acute, c. 5 mm long; latªeral sepals deflexed, obliquely lanceolate, acute, c. 6 mm long. Petals simple, obliquely lanceolate, acute, as long as the median sepal and adherent to it. Lip simple, narrowly oblong, obtuse, carnose, c. 7 mm long; spur incurved, strongly inflated apically, c. 8 mm long. Anther c. 1.5 mm tall; stigmatic processes clavate, c. 1 mm long; central rostellum lobe broadly rounded-triangular, c. 0.5 mm long.
