Characteristics

Plants fairly robust, 230-400 mm; leaves cauline, c. 10, spreading, elliptic to narrowly elliptic, acute, to 110 x 29 mm. Inflorescences lax, 3-13-flowered; bracts lanceolate, acuminate, to 30 mm long; pedicel (2-) 7-15 mm long, ovary slightly curved, 15-25 mm long. Flowers green with white petals and lip. Median sepal erect, deeply concave, ovate, acute, 7-10 mm long; lateral sepals spreading, lanceolate, acute, 8-11 mm long. Petals bipartite almost to the base; upper lobe erect, elliptic, obtuse, as long as the median sepal and adherent to it; lower lobe spreading, narrowly oblong, acute, 4-7 mm long. Lip tripartite, spreading, 11-17 mm long, lobes subequal, 7-12 mm long; midlobe narrowly oblong, obtuse; side lobes linear, acute; spur incurved, inflated and slightly compressed in the apical third, 30-40 mm long. Anther acute, c. 4 mm tall, canals porrect, abruptly recurved near the tip, c. 4 mm long; stigmas clavate, compressed, receptive on the outer side, 3-4 mm long; central rostellum lobe vestigial.
