Characteristics

Lip 3-lobed from an undivided base c. 1 mm long; mid-lobe 6–6.5 mm long, c. 0.5 mm wide; side lobes 3.3–4.2 × 0.2–0.4 mm, all lobes linear; spur 12–13 mm long, very slender but with apical 2–3 mm abruptly inflated, almost globose.

Stem leafy; leaves 7–9, the lowermost 1–2 sheath-like and the uppermost 3–4 bract-like, the rest 5.5–13.5 cm long and 4–8 mm wide, linear.
Petals shortly papillose, 2-lobed almost to base; upper lobe 3–4 × 0.3–0.4 mm; lower lobe 5–7 × 0.5–0.8 mm, both lobes linear.
Dorsal sepal 2.5–4 × 2 mm, ovate, reflexed, convex; lateral sepals deflexed, 5–6 × 3–4 mm, obliquely obovate.
Slender terrestrial herb 30–80 cm tall; tubers 1–1.5 × c. 1 cm,globose to ovoid.
Inflorescence 11–23 × 3–3.5 cm, many-flowered; bracts 7–10 mm long.
Stigmas 2.5–3 mm long; rostellum mid-lobe c. 1.5 mm high.
Anther 2–3 mm high; canals 2–3 mm long.
