Characteristics

Plants slender, to 400 mm; leaves cauline, 7-10, elliptic, acute, 90-125 x 30-37 mm, the upper 2-3 smaller, lanceolate, acuminate. Inflorescences lax, many-flowered; bracts lanceolate, acuminate, to 15 mm long; pedicel 2-5 mm long, ovary straight, c. 10 mm long. Flowers green. Median sepal erect, concave, broadly elliptic, obtuse, 3-4 mm long; lateral sepals deflexed, obliquely ovate, acute, 4-5 mm long. Petals bipartite nearly to the base; upper lobe erect, narrowly oblong, acute, as long as the median sepal and adherent to it; lower lobe subulate, shorter than the upper, 0.4-2.5 mm long. Lip tripartite from near the base, c. 5 mm long; midlobe narrowly lanceolate; side lobes vestigial, subulate, 0.4-1 mm long; spur filiform, tapering, 7-9 mm long. Anther c. 1.5 mm tall, caªnals c. 1 mm long; stigmatic processes narrowly clavate, adpressed to the lip, c. 1.5 mm long; cenªtral rostellum lobe triangular, c. 0.5 mm long.
