Inflorescence ± 4-flowered, 10–18 cm. long, 7–12 cm. in diameter.. Bracts leafy, narrowly lanceolate, acute, 6–9 cm. long, nearly as long as the flowers.. Flowers spreading, the sepals green, the petals and lip white; pedicel with ovary 3.5–6 cm. long.. Dorsal sepal erect, broadly lanceolate, 3.5–4 cm. long, 1.5–2 cm. broad; laterals spreading, obliquely lanceolate, slightly S-shaped, acute, 3.5–4.5 cm. long, narrower than the dorsal.. Petals free, falcately semi-ovate from a narrow base, ± spirally twisted towards the apex, ± 4.5 cm. long and 1 cm. broad, shortly puberulous and ciliolate.. Lip with a wedge-shaped undivided base 1.5–2 cm. long, deeply 3-lobed, altogether 4–5.5 cm. long and about as broad, puberulous; middle lobe broadly linear, obtuse, between 3 and 4 cm. long, ± 2 mm. broad; side lobes widely divergent, ± 3 cm. long, with ± 14 long slender threads 1–2 cm. long on the outer margins..
