Characteristics

Lip hairy, 3-lobed almost to base; mid-lobe deflexed, 10 × 1.5 mm, linear; side lobes 12–13 × 0.5 mm, curving up like anterior petal lobe; spur 2 cm long, slightly inflated at apex, parallel to ovary, then slightly recurved.

Dorsal sepal erect, 8 × 6 mm, ovate, subacute, convex; lateral sepals patent, 8.5 × 4 mm, obliquely semi-orbicular, convex, subacute or apiculate; all sepals very hairy.
Petals 2-lobed ± to base, long ciliate; posterior lobe 7 × 1.5 mm, erect, curved; anterior lobe 8–8.5 × 0.5 mm, patent or ascending.
Basal leaf appressed to the ground, c. 3 × 3 cm, orbicular, cordate, ± glabrous above and below, but densely hairy on margins.
Terrestrial herb 20–30 cm tall, ± whole plant hairy; tubers 8–17 × 7–10 mm, ellipsoid or globose.
