Leaves along the stem, 5–7, the lowermost 1 or 2 sheath-like, the remainder lanceolate or elliptical-lanceolate, acuminate, the largest 5–15 cm. long and 2–6 cm. broad, decreasing in size up the stem, the uppermost like the bracts.. Inflorescence 10–27 cm. long, rather laxly or subdensely 6–32-flowered.. Bracts leaf-like, lanceolate, acuminate, the lower ones longer than the flowers, often much longer.. Flowers suberect, green and white; pedicel with ovary 2–3 cm. long.. Dorsal sepal erect, broadly lanceolate, very acute, 13–19 mm. long, 7–9.5 mm. broad, convex; laterals spreading or deflexed, obliquely lanceolate, acuminate, 16–23 mm. long, narrower than the dorsal.. Petals adherent to the dorsal sepal along their inner side, much curved, narrowly lanceolate, acute, pubescent and ciliate, about as long as the dorsal sepal, 4–6 mm. broad.. Lip with a wedge-shaped claw ± 5–6 mm. long, beyond this 3-lobed, 18–25 mm. in length, almost glabrous; middle lobe linear or ligulate, obtuse, 12–18 mm. long, ± 1.5 mm. broad; side lobes widely divergent, 15–20 mm. long, divided into 6–10 narrow threads on the outside.. Spur pendent, ± S-shaped, 2–3 cm. long.. Anther-connective horseshoe-shaped, 2.5–3 mm. high and 4–6 mm. broad, loculi at each end, canals slender, erect, 4–5.5 mm. long.. Stigmas attached to rostellum side lobes in lower part, 15–21 mm. long, receptive part much swollen, 5–9 mm. long.. Rostellum middle lobe very short and broad.
