Petals deeply bipartite; upper lobe recurved, linear, puberulous, 5.5-8 mm long; lower lobe elongate lanceolate, acute, puberulous at least at the base, 9.5-13.5 x c. 2 mm. Lip deeply tripartite; midlobe linear, obtuse, 11-15 mm long; side lobes linear-lanceolate, acute, 10-12.5 mm long; spur gendy incurved, twisted through 180°, distinctly inflated in the apical half, 20-30 mm long. Anther reflexed, 2.5-4 mm tall, canals inªcurved, 3.5-6.5 mm long; stigmatic processes porªrect, clavate, glabrous or puberulous, 4.5-6 mm long; central rostellum lobe linear-triangular, c. 3 mm long.
More
Leaves 10–20, well spaced up the stem, the lowermost usually sheathing, the next 6–10 suberect, the largest 7–23 × 1–2 cm, linear or lanceolate, glossy green with 3 prominent longitudinal veins; the upper leaves appressed to stem and bract-like.
Lip 3-lobed almost to base; mid-lobe 11–15 mm long; side lobes 10–13 mm long; all lobes linear, less than 1 mm wide; spur 15–30 mm long, slender, inflated at apex, with 1 twist in the middle, parallel to pedicel and ovary or slightly incurved.
Terrestrial herb, up to 500 mm tall. Dorsal sepal 7-8 mm long. Posterior petal lobe without a tooth, anterior petal lobe up to twice the length of posterior lobe. Flowers green with a pale centre.
Inflorescence 10–35 × 5–6 cm, laxly to fairly densely several-to many-flowered; bracts 15–30 mmlong, glandular at the base, scarious at the tips, the lowest about as long as the pedicel and ovary.
Petals 2-lobed almost to base, slightly ciliolate; upper lobe 5–7.5 × 0.5–1 mm, linear, curving back; lower lobes pendent, hinged, 9.5–14 × 1.5–2.5 mm, lanceolate, acute.
Sepals reflexed, somewhat scarious after flowers open; dorsal sepal 5–7.5 × 2–3 mm, elliptic; lateral sepals 7–10.5 × 5–7 mm, obliquely obovate with a lateral apiculum.
Pedicel and ovary 20–30 mm long, straight or slightly arched, spreading, the ovary usually longer than the pedicel.
Anther 3.5–4 mm high; canals 4–7 mm long, porrect, curving up at tips.
Stigmatic arms 4.5–6 mm long, porrect, truncate at apex.
Rostellum mid-lobe 2.5–3 mm long, narrowly triangular.
Tubers 1.5–2.5 × 1 cm, ellipsoid, woolly.
