Characteristics

Petals 2-lobed almost to base; upper lobe erect, 3.5–4 × 0.5 mm, linear or ligulate, adnate to dorsal sepal; lower lobe much longer, ascending or erect, 10–11 × 1 mm, rather fleshy, ± papillose.

Lip 3-lobed to base, deflexed or slightly incurved, all lobes ± equal, 9–11.5 × 0.5 mm, linear, obtuse; spur c. 11 mm long, usually recurved and standing above flower, swollen at apex.
Leaves 6–11, the lowermost 1–2 sheath-like; stem leaves 3–7, recurved, usually 4–9 × 1–2 cm, lanceolate or oblong-lanceolate, acute; the uppermost grading to the bracts.
Dorsal sepal erect, 4 × 2.25 mm, elliptic, obtuse, convex; lateral sepals deflexed, 5–6 × 5 mm, obliquely triangular-ovate, the upper edge straight, the lower rounded.
Rostellum 3-lobed, mid-lobe erect, c. 1 mm long, side lobes deflexed, 4.5–5 mm long, rather zigzag, 2–3 mm longer than anther canals.
Stigmatic arms deflexed or porrect, 3–4 mm long, slender with an enlarged apex, densely papillose-pubescent.
Inflorescence 9–10 × 3–5 cm, fairly laxly 4–25-flowered; bracts 12–18 mm long.
Anther erect, 3 mm high; canals c. 2 mm long.
Pedicel c. 10 mm, long, ovary 7–11 mm long.
