Petals 2-lobed almost to base, posterior lobe erect, 6–12 × 1–2 mm, linear, adnate to dorsal sepal; anterior lobe 8.5–15 mm long, c. 1 mm wide, narrowly linear or filiform, spreading outwards and upwards.
Basal leaves appressed to the ground, 3–9 × 2–11 cm, ovate to reniform, cordate at base, apiculate or rounded, fleshy; stem leaves up to 3 cm long.
Dorsal sepal erect, 7–12 × 3–7 mm, elliptic, convex; lateral sepals spreading, 10–16 × 5–8 mm, obliquely semi-ovate, acuminate.
Inflorescence 3–20 × 3.5–6.5 cm, rather densely but sometimes loosely few-to many-flowered; bracts 10–20 mm long.
Terrestrial herb 20–55 cm tall; tubers up to 2.5 × 1.5 cm, ellipsoid or ± globose, tomentose.
Stem erect, with 2 basal leaves and 4–9 appressed bract-like stem leaves along its length.
Anther 4 mm high, erect, rounded at apex; canals 2–2.5 mmlong, porrect or upcurved.
Stigmas 4.5–7 mm long, porrect, club-shaped with a truncate apex.
Rostellum mid-lobe 2–4 mm long, narrowly triangular.
Flowers suberect or curving out, white, scented.
Ovary and pedicel 20–30 mm long.
