Characteristics

Plants slender, 170-380 mm; basal leaves 2, adpressed to the ground, ovate to orbicular-reniform, apiculate, 23-45 (-70) x 20-70 (-97) mm, cauline leaves 9-many, lanceolate, attenuate, to 28 mm long. Inflorescences lax, few-to many-flowered; bracts lanceolate, acuminate, 15-20 mm long; pedicel with ovary straight, pedicel 2-4 mm long, ovary c. 10 mm long. Flowers green. Median seªpal reflexed, exposing the gynostemium, concave, ovate, acuminate, 6-8.5 mm long; lateral sepals semi-ovate, acuminate, 7.5-9 mm long. Petals deeply bipartite, puberulous; upper lobe linear, curved, acute, twisted, somewhat shorter than the median sepal and adherent to it; lower lobe filiªform, 2x as long as the upper, 11-15 mm long. Lip deeply tripartite, puberulous; midlobe linear, acute, slightly shorter, 9-14 mm long; side lobes filiform, 10-15 mm long; spur slender, inflated apically, often twisted, 12-20 mm long. Anther reªflexed, c. 2 mm tall, canals divergent, c. 1 mm long; stigmatic processes decurved, narrowly obªlong, 2-3 mm long; central rostellum lobe trianªgular, acute, c. 1.5 mm long.

Leaves 2, basal, radical, unequal in size, broadly ovate to orbicular, somewhat succulent, the larger 23-45 x 22-65 mm. Inflorescence lax, racemose; flowers 20-50, resupinate, green. Terrestrial herb, up to 300 mm tall. Inflorescence lax to fairly dense. Spur 12-14 mm long. Anterior petal lobe 2-4 times as long as posterior lobe. Flowers numerous; green.
Petals 2-lobed, posterior lobe slightly shorter than dorsal sepal, falcate-linear, acute, slightly ciliate; anterior lobe c. 10 mm long, filiform, curved, hispid.
