Characteristics

Lip glabrous, 3-lobed with a claw 1.4–2 mm long; mid-lobe 7.5 × 1 mm, linear, convex; side lobes 10–12 × 0.5 mm, filiform; spur c. 2.5 cm long, inflated in apical third, pendent, slightly incurved.

Basal leaf appressed to the ground, 2.5–3.5 × 2.5–3.5 cm, ovate or orbicular, cordate at base, rounded at apex, densely pubescent above, glabrous below; stem leaves very pubescent.
Petals 2-lobed with an undivided basal part 3–3.5 mm long; posterior lobe c. 5 × 1.3 mm, linear, erect; anterior lobe patent, c. 11 mm long, filiform.
Dorsal sepal erect, 6–7 × 4–4.5 mm, ovate, convex; lateral sepals 7.5–8 × 2.5–3.5 mm, obliquely lanceolate; all sepals hairy outside.
Rostellum standing in front of anther, 3.5–4 mm long, 3-lobed in upper half only; mid-lobe c. 2.3 mm long; side lobes 1.2 mm long.
Inflorescence 10–15 × 3–3.5 cm, fairly laxly 10–20-flowered; bracts 6–11 mm long, all densely pubescent.
Terrestrial herb 25–35 cm tall, almost the whole plant velvety hairy.
