Characteristics

Leaves 8–9, spaced along stem, the lowest 2–3 loosely sheathing, the remainder up to 22 × 5 cm, ovate, acute, light green, loosely clasping the stem at the base, the edge sometimes undulate, decreasing in size towards the stem apex.
