Characteristics

Tree c. 20 m high. Branchlets c. 1 cm diam., verrucose. Leaves 1-3-jugate. Pith of the petioles with 8-10 vascular strands. Leaflets elliptic to obovate, 7-19 by 5-11½ cm, glabrous above, softly pubescent underneath; base rounded to subcordate, often oblique; apex abruptly and short acuminate; nervation prominent beneath; nerves 8-15 pairs (angle 70-80°), much curved, near the margin more or less arching. Inflorescences (♂ unknown) small, pilose, 1½-2 cm long, on stout, short, axillary shoots. Flowers (♂ unknown) 3 mm long, glabrous. Calyx spreading, 2 mm wide. Stamens free. Disk undulate. Infructescences and fruits unknown.
