Characteristics

Growing solitary or in groups. Rosette: acaulescent, 30-45 mm diam. Leaves: very numerous, 160-240, erect incurved, interwoven together because of the leaf-hairs, 20-25 mm long, 4-10 mm broad, 1.5-4 mm thick. Leaf colour: dark green. Margins: opaque, hairy. Hairs: white, 15-25 per cm, 1.5-2.5 mm long. Back with 1 hairy keel. Hairs: 15-25 per cm, 1.5-2.5 mm long. Leaf-tip: with end-bristle, 5-7 mm long.
