Characteristics

Rosette 60-80 mm wide, leaves many, stemless. Leaves roughly narrow-obovate-lanceolate, pointed, 35-45 mm long, 8-10 mm wide towards the tip, younger leaves suberect, older ones spread and at the tip mostly distinctly recurved, face smooth or frequently with an indistinctly, prominent longitudinal line, towards the base nearly plain or somewhat concave, towards the tip somewhat convex, back somewhat convex, from the mid-part upwards obliquely keeled, grey-green, obscure, on both sides with a few somewhat darker longitudinal lines, on both sides towards the tip slightly pellucid (this part at the margins mostly somewhat longer than in the centre, where it is about 10 mm long), here faces with 3-5 green longitudinal lines mostly somewhat reticulate and mostly irregular coalescing and only the centre-most may reach the apex, back in the brighter parts, with similar but more numerous lines, at the apex with 3 mm long, sometimes somewhat shorter, toothed, bright end-bristle, at the margins nearly from the centre up, as well as on the keel, with solitary, bright, up to 1 mm long, at the base mostly only little broadened, bristles. Peduncle simple, brownish-green, including the lax, not numerous flowered raceme 200-300 mm long. Few sterile bracts from the base of the peduncle upwards, slender, mostly with brownish centre-nerve, ovate-triangular, very long pointed, only up to 3 mm long. Pedicel greenish, as long or somewhat shorter as their bracts, 2-3 mm long. Flower 11-13 mm long, tube obclavate, only a little curved, at the base nearly rounded, white with brownish lines, limb about half as long as the tube, distinctly bilabiate, obtuse, white with greenish centre stripe, the lowermost more recurved than the uppermost. Pistil very short.
