Leaves 40-50 mm long, 20-25 mm broad, stiff, erect, ovate to nearly obovate, a little widened at the base, upperside a little concave or nearly flat towards the base, obliquely truncated towards the top, underside very arched, near the margins frequently somewhat furrowed, obliquely and obtusely keeled from near the base and up, sometimes with a second indistinct keel, at the top with very small, mostly rounded lengthwise tubercles that are leaf-colored, the margin towards the top smooth or a little rough but without distinct teeth, towards the base nearly smooth or with very small light coloured, widely spaced teeth. Upper surface at an angle of about 45°, and in contrast to the other portions of the leaf, shiny, half translucent, smooth or with very small indications of tubercles of the same color, nearly flat or a little arched, a little concave towards the top sometimes, 20-25 mm long, at the base close to 20 mm broad, cordate-triangular, long with sudden point, towards the top bent a little sidewards with about 5-8 longer lengthwise lines not reaching the tip and some very short green ones.
