Leaves spirally arranged, ascending, multifarious firm about 30 mm long, 16 mm broad above the base, 5 mm thick at the middle, incurved, ovate acute; face flat to concave, beset with small whitish and concolorous, transversely oblong tubercles in the upper 1/3 and arranged on and alongside the slightly raised concolorous middle longitudinal line, light green below, darker green above; back rounded, light green, becoming brownish-green towards the tip, with 12 somewhat undulated transverse rows of white, 1 mm diam., round and transversely oblong tubercles which are often confluent at the middle, solitary and smaller towards the tip and very small towards the base, also arranged in 12 indistinct longitudinal rows, the transverse rows 2 mm apart at the middle of the leaf. Peduncle simple, terete, 1.75 mm diam., including the raceme 29 cm long, rich brown; raceme 9 cm long, about 11 flowers and buds, sparsely and spirally arranged, 1 open at a time; pedicels 4.5 mm long, 1 mm diam., light reddish-brown; sterile bracts 2, 5 mm long, the lower one 11 cm from the base of peduncle; fertile bracts 3 mm long, deltoid, acuminate, white, with a broad dark brown nerve; perianth pinkish-white, 23 mm long, the cylindrical-hexagonal shortly stipitate subglobose base 5 mm diam., slightly constricted above to 4.5 mm, oblong, erect-spreading, the tube slightly curved; upper segments obtuse channelled the inner one slightly recurved, face colour pinkish-frosty-white with the nerve fine and greenish-brown above, the 2 outer segments more recurved, spreading, face colour pale pink with a broad greenish-brown nerve; lower segments obtuse, the inner one channelled, long recurved, face colour pink with a medium-fine greenish-brown nerve, the 2 outer segments replicate, more recurved, spreading, face colour frosty-white with a broad greenish-brown nerve; stamens 6-8 mm long; ovary 4.5 mm long, 2.25 mm diam. below, bright light green; style 1.5 mm long, straight, slightly capitate.

Leaves crowded, spirally arranged, multifarius, ascending, incurved, firm, about 38 mm long, 14 mm broad near the base, 5 mm thick at the middle, lanceolate, acuminate; face flat below, flat-rounded above, smooth, with a raised concolorous longitudinal middle line and one on each side meeting the middle line about 6 and 9 mm respectively below the tip, light to dark green; back rounded, obliquely keeled in the upper 2/3, beset with 11 transverse rows of raised, white, transversely oblong rather small tubercles, a number of which are confluent transversely, all regularly arranged on the keel, the rows 2.25 mm apart at the middle of the leaf, dark green. Peduncle simple, terete, 1 mm diam., including the raceme 30 cm long, light reddish-green below; raceme about 13 cm long, about 14 spirally arranged flowers and buds, 2 open simultaneously; pedicels 3 mm long, barely 1 mm diam., greyish-brown; sterile bracts 2, the lowest 11 cm from base, 3-5 mm long; fertile bracts 2 mm long, deltoid acute, light brown with a broad very dark brown nerve; perianth pinkish-white, 17 mm long, the 4 mm diam. shortly stipitate (1 mm) cylindrical-hexagonal sub-globose base constricted to 3.25 mm above, oblong, erect, curved; upper segments obtuse, face colour of the 2 outer pinkish-white with a broad greenish-brown nerve, recurved, face colour of the inner segment white above, light green below, with a broad greenish brown nerve, recurved; lower segments obtuse, the face colour of the 2 outer white above, greenish below, with a fine greenish-brown nerve, replicate and recurved at an angle of about 45 degrees, the face colour of the inner segment pink with a medium fine greenish-brown nerve, channelled, more recurved and longer; stamens 6 and 7 mm long; ovary 3.5 mm long, 2 mm diam., bright green; style fully 1 mm long, white, somewhat bent.

Leaves multifarious, ascending-spreading, incurved, firm, 44 mm long, 14 mm broad at the base, 6.25 mm thick, lanceolate, acuminate; face flat-concave, smooth or occasionally with a few very small slightly raised whitish tubercles on the raised middle line, light green; back rounded, with 12 rows of raised white round and oblong about 0.75 mm diam. tubercles arranged in distinct transverse rows, and about the same number of indistinct longitudinal rows, the tubercles oblong transversely and the transverse rows 2.25 mm apart at the middle of the leaf, green, becoming brownish-green towards the tip; keel oblique. Peduncle simple, terete, 1.5 mm diam., about 42 cm long including the raceme, reddish-brown below; raceme sub-laxly 16 flowered, about 16 cm long, flowers spirally-unilaterally arranged, 1-2 open simultaneously; pedicels 2.5 mm long, 0.75 mm diam., light brown; sterile bracts 3, about 4 mm long; fertile bracts 2.5-3 mm long, deltoid, acute, light brown with a very dark brown medium-fine nerve; perianth white 16 mm long, the triangular-hexagonal sub-globose shortly (1 mm) stipitate base 4 mm diam., constricted above to 3 mm diam., oblong, erect-spreading, somewhat curved; upper segments obtuse, about equally recurved, the faces each with a broad greenish-brown nerve; lower segments obtuse, the 2 outer spreading, replicate and the faces each with a broad dark green nerve, the inner segment channelled and the face with a medium-fine nerve which is reddish below and green above, the inner and outer much recurved and about equal in length; stamens 4-5 mm long; ovary 3.5 mm long, 1.5 mm diam., light green; style 1.25 mm long, straight, somewhat capitate, whitish; capsule 13 mm long, 3 mm diam.

Leaves ascending-spreading, multifarious, about 29 mm long, 9.5 mm broad at the base and 4.75 mm thick near the middle, slightly incurved with the extreme tip more incurved, young leaves broadly lanceolate and somewhat acute, becoming narrow lanceolate and acuminate when old; face convex, pale green when young, becoming greenish brown when old, with, on some leaves, a few small concolorous to whitish raised tubercles mostly in a row along the middle of leaf; back rounded, indistinctly keeled, somewhat darker than face, with light brownish tips, the young somewhat shining towards the tips, beset with about 12 transverse rows of small raised round and slightly oblong transversely truncated about 0.5 mm diam. solitary tubercles which are greenish-white on the young leaves and white on the old, the rows 2 mm apart at the middle of the leaf, also indistinctly arranged in about 11 longitudinal rows. Peduncle simple, terete, 0.75 mm diam., up to 31 cm long including the somewhat lax flowered raceme, very light greenish brown below; raceme: flowers and buds about 10, 1-2 open at a time; pedicels 3 mm long, 1 mm diam., light bluish-green; sterile bracts 1.5 mm long, deltoid, acuminate, very pale brown to dark reddish brown below, with a reddish brown nerve; perianth pure white, 16 mm long, the cylindrical-hexagonal tapering-stipitate sub-globose base 3 mm diam., slightly constricted above, oblong, erect, tube curved; upper segments obtuse, recurved, about equal in length; lower segments obtuse, more recurved, the outer ones replicate, the inner one channelled; stamens 4.5-5.5 mm long, ovary 3 mm long, 1.5 mm diam., green; style 1.5 mm long, slightly bent, capitate.
Leafy stem up to 20 cm long and 60 mm diam. including the leaves, erect, becoming procumbent, proliferous from the base and forming large clusters, light green, becoming bronze in the sun. Leaves multifarious, ascending, incurved, firm, coriaceous, 40 mm long, 19 mm broad above the base, 9.5 mm. thick below the middle, ovate-lanceolate, acute-acuminate, reddish brown cusp; face flat-convex, smooth, with a raised concolorous longitudinal middle line and one on each side arising from the margins about the middle of the leaf and meeting the middle line at different points near the tip, pale green becoming reddish green in the sun; back rounded, beset with about 16 transverse rows of raised white round and mostly oblong (transversely oblong) 0.25-0.75 mm diam. hardly prominent tubercles, a few confluent transversely, the rows at the middle of the leaf about 2.5 mm apart; keel central or +/-obliquely arranged in the upper 3/4. Peduncle simple, terete, l.25 mm diam., about 21 cm long including the raceme, dark brown below; raceme sub-laxly flowered, about 10 spirally arranged flowers and buds, 1-2 open at a time; pedicels 2.25 mm long, fully 1 mm diam., light brown; sterile bracts 4, the lowest one 4 cm from the base of the peduncle; fertile bracts 2 mm long, deltoid acute, white with a broad dark brown nerve; perianth white, 16 mm long, the cylindrical-hexagonal sub-globose shortly (1 mm) stipitate base 4 mm diam., slightly constricted above, oblong, erect-spreading, curved; upper segments obtuse, very slightly recurved; lower segments obtuse, the 2 outer replicate-channelled, recurved about 60 degrees, spreading, the inner segment channelled, shorter; stamens 7 and 6 mm long; ovary 3 mm long, barely 2 mm diam., light yellowish green; style 1.25 mm long, whitish, straight, hardly capitate.

Leaves loosely arranged, multifarious, ascending, spreading, incurved, about 30-35 mm long, 10-20 mm broad, up to 5 mm thick, lanceolate, acuminate; upper surface concave near the base, rounded near the apex, smooth, with or without concolorous converging lines, tubercled or smooth; lower surface rounded, with indistinct or conspicuous white tubercles arranged in longitudinal rows, and frequently longitudinally coalescent, with 6 or 8 indistinct longitudinal lines; keel 1, obliquely positioned; margins tubercled. Inflorescence up to 30 cm tall; peduncle simple, terete, 1.5 mm diam., bracteate; sterile bracts membranous, acuminate; raceme with about 17 spirally arranged flowers and buds, 1 to 2 open simultaneously; floral bracts membranous, 2 mm long, deltoid acuminate, keeled with dark brown veins, clasping the pedicels, (shorter than the pedicels); pedicels about 6 mm long, 1 mm diam., green, erect; perianth white with reddish-brown keels to the segments, 18 mm long, compressed at base, funnel-shaped; tube more or less 4 mm across, constricted to 3 mm above, somewhat curved; segments not free; limb 2 lipped; posterior segments recurved, white, spreading, with reddish-brown veins; exterior part hardly spreading, much recurved, white with reddish-brown veins, replicate; stamens 6 of two lengths 4 and 5 mm long, inserted within the perianth tube; ovary 3 mm long, 1.75 mm diam., green; style up to 2 mm long, straight, not capitate.
