Characteristics

Decumbent dwarf shrub, 0.15-0.60 m long; yellow-green, densely white silky hairy, with stalked glands, sessile and stipitate stellate hairs and long, white, simple hairs. Leaves petiolate (up to 15 mm), ovate, ± 37 mm long, margins crenate except at base. Stipules parted into 2 or 3 leaf-like segments. Inflorescences in terminal panicles; peduncles 2-flowered, ± 5 mm long; pedicels filiform ± 9 mm long, with stalked glands, stellate and simple hairs. Flowers 10 mm long, yellow. Calyx campanulate, 5-lobed to beyond middle, with stalked glands and stellate hairs, simple hairs along margins. Petals as long as calyx or shorter. Flowering time July-May.
