Characteristics

Suffruticose, decumbent and many stemmed, ± 0.15 m high. Leaves petiolate, ovate-oblong, inciso-crenate or subpinnatifid, with obtuse lobes. Stipules amplexicaul, small. Inflorescences 2-flowered; peduncles 35 mm long; pedicels filiform, densely glandular-hairy intermixed with coarse stellate hairs. Flowers 6.5 mm long, blue. Calyx campanulate, 5-lobed to beyond middle; sparsely glandular-hairy, margins with stellate and simple, white hairs. Petals white to yellow, twice as long as calyx, spreading. Flowering time Nov.-Jan. Fruit a glandular-hairy capsule.
