Characteristics

Decumbent, suffruticose dwarf shrub, branches 0.2-0.6 m long; glabrous to finely glandular-hairy. Leaves petiolate, cuneate at base, ovate-oblong in outline, pinnatisect, lobes pinnatifid obtuse. Stipules amplexicaul, relatively small, leaf-like. Inflorescences 2-flowered; peduncles ± 45 mm long; pedicels filiform, glandular-hairy intermixed with white, stellate and simple hairs. Flowers 10 mm long, red-pink. Calyx shallowly campanulate, 5-lobed to less than middle, lobes ± rounded, apices acute. Petals more than twice as long as calyx. Flowering time Aug.-Oct.?.
