Characteristics

Decumbent, suffruticose dwarf shrub, branches 0.25-0.30 m long; glabrous, gland-dotted, often glutinous. Leaves petiolate, base cuneate; blade ovate-oblong, serrate, gland-dotted. Stipules persistent, regularly spaced basally at nodes of branchlets or on older branchlets. Inflorescences 2-flowered; peduncles ± 25 mm long; pedicels filiform, glabrous with scattered glands. Flowers 11 mm long, yellow. Calyx broadly campanulate, 5-lobed to middle. Petals twice as long as calyx. Flowering time Aug.-Oct.
