Perennial herb, up to 0.22 m high; tawny with long, yellowish stellate hairs. Stems procumbent. Leaves subsessile; blade ovate to ovate-oblong, margins crenate, upper and lower surface glabrescent. Flowers: in 2-flowered cymes, sometimes concentrated towards ends of branches to form pseudo-panicles; calyx campanulate; petals yellow; Sep.-Mar.
