Leaf-lamina up to 8 × 8 cm., ovate to sub-orbicular in outline, usually deeply 3–5-lobed, strigose to hispid above, stellate-hispidulous beneath, apex acute, base obtuse to truncate; lobes narrowly oblong lanceolate to elliptic, margins rather coarsely serrate; petiole up to 3·5 cm. long; stipules 4–8 mm. long, filiform.
