Characteristics

Leaf-lamina 2–8 × 0·1–1·5 cm., narrowly linear, linear-elliptic or narrowly oblong, entire or rarely with a few coarse teeth, appressed-stellate-setulose especially on the nerves and margins, apex acute (rarely rounded), base narrowly cuneate 3–5-nerved; petiole up to 1 mm. long; stipules up to 12 mm. long, linear to subulate.
